FIVE MORE IMPORTANT POINTS FOR THOSE ISSUING IN HASTE
Friday is ( or may be) effectively the last day you can issue under the old fee regime. This is going to be a busy day for many litigators. Here are five points in an attempt to ensure that no long-term problems arise.

Richard put this as a comment on the blog. However these things are easily missed.

And this all supposes that you can find a court with an open counter service that will co-operate in the last minute issue process…”
3. IF YOU ARE HAVING TO GUESS ABOUT A STATEMENT OF VALUE THEN GUESS HIGH
It is pointless issuing on the basis of a low value and then, after issue, finding you are having to pay the new court fees if an application is made to amend the value. However high you guess it will be difficult for the fees to be in excess of the current fees.
4. REMEMBER YOU HAVE TO SERVE WITHIN FOUR MONTHS
The worst thing that can happen now is for any of these matters to be forgotten. Diarise and serve. Preferably serve now.
5. SERVING IN A RUSH CAN CAUSE PROBLEMS
