KERRY’S DISQUALIFIED TWEETS
I have disqualified Kerry Underwood from entering. However:-
“Oh Little Town of Bethlehem We’ve closed your County Court”
gets a mention…
HOW TO ENTER
Simple. Either tweet, or put in the comments section of this blog below, the best title for a legal Christmas song. The twitter hashtag is #lawsongs
The idea comes from a Twitter contest (ran for fun) last week to find the best classic novel that could arise from a boundary dispute. The winner was “Fence and Fencibility” (You may be getting the level).
THE WINNER – GETS THE T-SHIRT
The winner will get a specially designed T-Short “Legal Christmas Song Winner 2006” – with the winning title emblazoned on the front.
THE PRICE OF ENTRY
All entries that will be considered for entry have to make a minimum £5 donation to the charities on Kerry Underwood’s my donate page which is here.
It will help if you give your song title and brief details of your identity on the page.
BOGOFF
Note quite a buy one get two deal but if you pay £10 or more you can have three entries. (You can enter as many times as you want as long as you pay for the additional entries).
EVERY PENNY GIVEN WILL GO TO CHARITY
Every penny donated goes to the two charities identified on the page. Nothing is being taken off for expenses.
Dear Gordon, I hope that my two entries would be included in the #lawsongs competition. I made the 10 pounds donation by credit card payment of AUD$17.18 which shows in my account as a debit on 7 December 2016. My two entries are dated 5 and 6 December 2016 and you have RT’d them.

Best wishes and happy Christmas,

To the refrain of ‘Whilst Shepherds watched their flocks by night’
While Rupert watch’d claimant costs by night,
And did a full review,
The angel of insurers came down,
And savings shone around.
“Fear not,” said he, for mighty dread
Had seized their troubled minds;
“Glad tidings of great joy I bring
fixed costs for all mankind.”
Hi Gordon
As you have banned Kerry’s entries from the competition(and I may say quite rightly too) I thought it would be only proper to submit the following montage:
‘We wish you a Kerry Xmas.’
‘Kerry Xmas everyone.’
‘Have yourself a Kerry little Xmas.’
I undertake to send £10 to the charity as directed.
Best wishes
Robert
Donation made Gordon – and my entry is:
“All I want for Christmas is EU rights”

… Keep up the good work
