MEMBER NEWS: THERE ARE IMPORTANT DIFFERENCES IF YOU HAVE TAKEN OUT A NEW GROUP SUBSCRIPTION RATHER THAN RENEWED: WHY SOME PEOPLE CANNOT LOG IN AT PRESENT
There have been messages this morning from people wondering why they cannot log on to this site when the have a group membership. There has been a simple explanation. On a few occasions groups have taken out new annual subscriptions rather than renewed the existing one. This has an important practical difference. On renewal everything goes on as before. If a “new” subscription has been taken out then everyone needs to be re-registered.
A REMINDER HOW TO JOIN PEOPLE ONTO THE SITE
This can only be done by the person named as the “administrator” for the site.
“How to add colleagues to a Corporate Membership:
1) Go to https://www.civillitigationbrief.com and log in via the ‘My Account’ page.
2) Once logged in, click on ‘Subscriptions’ and then select ‘Sub Accounts’ next to your corporate subscription.
3) From there, you can either:
a) Manually invite colleagues using the ‘Add Sub Account’ button
b) Or (quicker method) Share your unique signup link (URL), which allows colleagues to register themselves under the account.”
Everyone who has been in touch so far has said that method (b) is easier – send people the URL and they can register themselves.
Once they are registered they will receive the emails directly and be able to access the site.
