There is a job vacancy and Hammersmith and Fulham Law Centre – a solicitor is needed.

“Salary: £36,000 per annum

Working hours: 35 per week (flexible and job-share considered)

We require a solicitor for our Child Poverty Unit. This is an exciting opportunity for a solicitor to undertake strategic litigation that will improve life chances for children and families. We anticipate the project will include advice and litigation on housing, income and benefit issues and public law but there is a broad remit to develop the project.

We offer a wide range of benefits including 30 days annual leave, pension, enhanced family friendly policies, the possibility of flexible working and significant opportunities for learning, development and campaigning. We have newly refurbished offices in Hammersmith with excellent transport connections to the Piccadilly/District and Hammersmith & City Line tubes.

We have a 40-year history of providing an excellent service to the local community. Our patron is Supreme Court President, Lady Hale. In 2017 our Director won the Legal Aid Lawyer of the Year Outstanding Achievement Award.

Hammersmith & Fulham Law Centre is an equal opportunities employer and encourages applications from all candidates who meet the person specification regardless of age, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability or race.
