In Betta Oceanway Company v SC Tomini Trading SR (Re Costs) [2024] EWHC 2068 (Comm) Mr Stephen Hofmeyr KC (sitting as a Deputy Judge of the High Court) held that a person who unsuccessfully sought to intervene in civil proceedings was liable to pay the costs of both sides.
