UPDATED EDITION OF THE “DENTON RESOURCE”: THE CRUCIAL CASES
For a number of years the Sanctions Case Watch section of this blog has contained a link to the highly useful “Denton Resource”. A new edition has been published by Rachel Segal of St John’s Chambers and is available here.
WHAT THE RESOURCE DOES
The useful feature of this work is that it goes through each major case relating to relief from sanctions thematically, starting with Pre-Action breaches and then going through costs budgets on to Appeals, Costs and “Overarching principles”.
Each case of relief from sanction is, of course, fact specific. However Rachel provides an important overview of judicial thinking in a thorough way that allows you to look at the key elements of each decision.
The link to this updated edition is also on the “Sanctions Case Watch” section of this blog.
