WHEN THE SKY FALLS IN: WHAT TO DO WHEN THINGS GO WRONG IN LITIGATION: WEBINAR 6th AUGUST 2020
I have been writing on this blog for some time now that lawyers should be taught that mistakes happen. We should aim to avoid them but if errors are made they are often rectifiable if dealt with correctly and quickly. More problems (and certainly many more professional proceedings) come out of the poor handling, or attempts to cover up, mistakes, than come from mistakes themselves. At some time in their career every lawyer will make a mistake of some kind.
Very little is taught about how to deal with those mistakes and the practical steps that can be taken to rectify matters.
On the 6th August 2020 I am giving a webinar on “What to do when things go wrong in Litigation”.
This webinar looks at:
The most common kinds of mistake in personal injury litigation. Limitation, breach of court orders, problematic witnesses and clients
What not to do
The practical steps you can take to put matters right
What do you do if the problem can’t be rectified
Learning from your mistakes
