LIGHT IN ALL THE HEAT: ENSURING THAT AN AUTHORISED PERSON HAS “CONDUCT OF LITIGATION”: A PRACTICAL GUIDE: WEBINAR 31st OCTOBER 2025

There are many heated responses to the Mazur decision.  There are articles suggesting that the judge got the law wrong. (Apparently the judge should not have listened to the submissions of both the Law Society and SRA which supported his conclusion). There are articles that state that the statute is “wrong” and didn’t mean, in fact, to say what it says (according to the High Court, the Law Society and the SRA).  However the fundamental point is that we all, as working litigators, have to care for clients, and earn a living,  in an environment where the “spectre” of the Mazur decision looms large.   This webinar aims to provide light and practical guidance amongst the heat.

(A conductor “conducts” an orchestra. They are not expected to play every instrument yet they have ultimate responsibility for the overall result. Is this a good analogy? Watch the webinar and find out…_)
